Thank you very much.
Being featured on ABC’s Shark Tank was an awesome opportunity that we will always be grateful for. We were treated with great resect by the producers, the prep team and even the Sharks themselves. The national exposure was a great bonus and helped bring our Ice Chips Candy to the attention of millions of potential customers.

You have some wonderful ideas on how to use Ice Chips as a topping on Ice Cream, they can also be used to sweeten and flavor coffee or teas.

If you are looking to buy Xylitol in granulated form congratulations, we sell Xylitol in 12 oz., 1 lb., 3 lb. and 10 lb. bags.

On our web site, Click Buy Online in the upper left hand of the page then click Bulk Xylitol in the lower part of the next page.

That will take you to:

There you can make your selection.

You may also be able to purchase Xylitol from your local Health Food Store or Coop but we strongly recommend US made Birchwood Xylitol.

Thank you for your question and let us know if we can help you in any other way.

When will you be making chocolate Flavor ice chips?

The Grannies Monday, November 18, 2013 10:11 AM

We get a lot of request for various flavors. One lady keeps asking for Almond Roca another for Cinnabon, some ask for Banana or Peanut Butter or Toasted Coconut.

Our most recent new flavor is Root Beer Float and that seems to be a winner. But our next new flavor will most likely be a Sour Cherry.

Keep the suggestions coming, we are always open to new ideas.

Thank you;

We can't really give you the recipe but you can learn more about it @

While you are on that site check out all our other natural skin care products.

Hi Bev and Charlotte, my name is Rita Smith. I had the pleasure of meeting both of you at the Washington Association of Career and Technical Education Conference (WACTE) in Yakima this summer.
Lake Washington School District and the Kirkland Kiwanis is sponsoring Teen CEO which is a business competition for high school students on March 15, 2014 in Redmond Washington. At this competition students who have real businesses will have the opportunity to make a presentation to a panel of judges asking for honorariums to expand their business.
I would like to know if one or both of you would like to serve as a judge on this panel.
Thank you for your consideration.

We also had a wonderful time speaking at the WACTE. It was one of the high points of our summer.

The educators in attendance were attentive and enthusiastic. They certainly made us feel that what we had to share was important to them.

As far as judging in your local completion, we would love to participate and help in any way that we can.

Thank you again.

Hello. I'm coming due for a reorder and aside from also ordering for my sister and Doctor as gifts, was wondering if it is possible to get a six pack of my own choosing ie 2 licorice, 2 peppermint and 2 cinnamon? Thank you.

The Grannies Monday, August 26, 2013 11:06 AM

That is a great question. Many people have been asking about the possibility of making their own 'Custom' Variety Packs.

Well we have been listening and we are pleased to announce that you can now choose any combination of six (6) tins to make your own Custom Variety Pack. Just follow this link and explore all the possibilities now available to you.

Thanks again for the great question.

Do the Ice Chips have an expiration date? How long is the shelf life?

The Grannies Monday, August 26, 2013 11:11 AM

We put a 3 year expiration date on each tin of Ice Chips Xylitol Candy. Most people can't wait 3 years to eat all their Ice Chips.

We've sampled tins older and found them to still maintain their freshness.

Thank you for your question.

I would love to try xylitol products from US. Here in finland its ye-oldie thing but my curiosity is taking over me lol . My problem is the overall price that it would take for me to order it all the way here. Is there any chance to be able to order smaller sample packets of each flavors?

The Grannies Monday, August 26, 2013 11:32 AM

As you may know Finland is considered to be the birthplace of Xylitol.

We are flattered that you would want to purchase our Ice Chips Candy.

Right now we offer Ice Chips Candy in a 50 gram tin, six tins to a pack.

We do sell internationally but you would have to pay most of the shipping charges.
Who knows, as we grow we may have a distributor in Finland soon.

Thank you again for your interest in Ice Chips Candy.

Is it possible to eat too much?

If so, what would the symptoms be?

The Grannies Monday, August 26, 2013 11:23 AM

It's possible to eat too much of anything.

We do recommend moderation when consuming Xylitol products.

One tin should last you at least 3 to 4 days or more.

If you do overeat the most common symptom is 'Tummy Discomfort'.

Some people can eat all they want while others need to be more conservative in their consumption. Remember everyone is different.
